C-B: Provide a description or define your business activity!
Viviana Botoaca: My business activity encompasses establishing the clinics from the legal and business point of view, such as developing business strategy and expansion plan, management of the clinics and the team members, on one side, as well as , medical and technological research, patient care, medical policies and implementation of ethical and moral principles within the clinic, on the other side.

C-B: What is the story of the evolution of your business?
Viviana Botoaca: Coming from a family of generations of doctors, but also considering the legal and business experience gained during my career as a lawyer, together with my brother, Dr. Ducu, we had decided to unite our forces and set up DrDucu Clinic, which was opened 3 years ago in London.
Within the first year, we had managed to open franchises in Canada and the USA. DrDucu Clinics are registered within Quality and Care Comission (CQC) and employ a range of unique techniques, as well as combined treatments developed by our team of doctors, that have set us apart in the medical landscape, such as: minor surgery (hairline lowering and eyebrow transplant for women, hair and beard transplant for men, mini-lipo), non-surgical BBL, face fillers.
Following the opening of the first clinic and understanding the evolution of medical technology and innovation in aesthetics, I have established the second clinic, Geneviv London, which is focused on regenerative and biohacking medicine.
As such, the business has evolved in such a manner that through advanced technologies and in the expert hands of doctors, Geneviv Clinic has managed to give patients back valuable time by minimizing the time required for procedures, speeding up the healing process and eliminating the downtime post-procedures, optimizing the whole medical process and ensuring personalized & unique DNA based treatment plans.
C-B: What were your visions in childhood/adolescence, and what are they now?
Viviana Botoaca: Growing up my visions centered around helping and being able to make a positive impact, through compassion and understanding. The foundation of empathy that has guided my actions, whether as a lawyer or through the medical clinics, my vision was able to grow the necessary strength and to gather the tools required to fulfill my dreams. Therefore, presently I strive to contribute to the well-being of other, embodying the values instilled in me during my formative years.
C-B: What are the life and business principles you adhere to, and what is their explanation?
Viviana Botoaca: Having strong principles serves as a reliable compass in both business and life. Guiding the decision-making process and the actions by moral and ethical foundation, the main principles I adhere to are consistency, integrity & kindness, resilience.
I believe that such principles contribute to having meaningful and solid relationships in life, personal growth and to character shaping. In business, the above-mentioned principles enable you to navigate through challenges with strength and a clear sense of purpose. Moreover, they contribute to a trustworthy reputation, sustainable success and strong business relationships.
In essence, the principles are the ones that offer guidance through the complexities of both business and life. They instill resilience, ensuring that even in turbulent times you remain grounded in your beliefs and committed to a path that reflects your values. Ultimately, both in life and business, I believe one must be guided by a sense of happiness and fulfillment, in whatever they decide to do, as well as never to cease to evolve, grow and to learn, whether personally or on a business level.
C-B: What advice/s do you have for those just starting out or undecided?
Viviana Botoaca: Just Dream Big and follow your dreams. Success comes from a combination of passion, hard work, embracing innovation and prioritizing ethical practices.
Equip yourself with patience, resilience and knowledge.
Be consistent and persevere. Don’t be afraid to fail, because failure is the most effective way to learn how to be successful. Never be guided by discouraging voices, stay focused, refine your approach if needed, and strive for success.
C-B: What are your perceptions of society and its evolution?
Viviana Botoaca: We live in a rapidly changing society, changes which are incredible when it comes to medical progress, transportation, communication means, technology overall. It’s a world guided by innovation, which means that, from a business perspective, adaptability and being up-to-date, or even ahead of time, is crucial.
However, from other perspectives, on a human interaction level, these changes have proven to be a double edged sword, as people are facing new challenges due to disruptiveness of technological means. A big part of society is currently disconnected from real, consistent and healthy human interactions.
Moreover, the manner in which society has evolved, has also determined environmental problems such as biodiversity loss, food waste, deforestation and others as such.
I remain confident that by using the right means and measures provided by the incredible progress of technology, including means of communication and access to information, we can contribute to repairing and improving the world that we live in.
